Cooperative Strategy for the Conservation of Biological Diversity

Provides an overall conservation fromework for the Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) and strategic direction relating to the goals of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, in recognition that the objectives of the organizations are complementary to each other. Produced after Arctic Ministers at Nuuk (1993) requested CAFF to suggest ways how to facilitate cooperation among member countries for advancing the goals of the CBD in the Arctic region.
