CBird promotes, facilitates, coordinates and harmonizes seabird conservation, management and research activities among circumpolar countries and improves communication between seabird scientists and managers.
CPAN´s activities are currently reflected in other CAFF projects.
CPAN promoted the development of a protected areas network. These areas have a high probability of maintaining ecosystem health and can play an important role in identifying current and emerging issues.
